Priscilla won 'Best Costume' at the Olivier Awards. source. The new cast also performed.

Priscilla won Best New Musical, best supporting actor (Oliver Thornton), Best Set Design (Brian Thomson) and Best Choreography (Ross Coleman) at the What's On Stage Award.

Priscilla Queen of the Desert now booking to 26 Feb 2011

Priscilla Queen of the Desert - The Musical, has increased its booking period - tickets now on sale to 26 Feb 2011.

The show opened at the Palace Theatre 23 March 2009, following previews from 10 March to mostly good notices from the popular press: THE EVENING STANDARD says, "I welcome it with open arms and a glad rag-bag of positive adjectives." THE GUARDIAN says, "It is gaudy, garish and loud and seems to be as much about costumes as content." THE TIMES says, "There’s energy, fun, tunefulness and, above all, the most outrageous swirl of costumes that I...have yet encountered." THE DAILY TELEGRAPH says, "Wildly entertaining."

Todd McKenney taps into a wealth of experience
TODD McKenney, the controversial "nasty" judge on Dancing With The Stars, is dusting off his tap shoes for his first serious bout of tap dancing in 20 years.

The Sunday Telegraph can reveal exclusively that McKenney will star alongside iOTA in Smoke And Mirrors at The Famous Spiegeltent from January 7 for the Sydney Festival.

Devised and directed by Craig Ilott (who directed iOTA in the award-winning cult musical Hedwig And The Angry Inch), the new production replaces sexed-up burlesque show La Clique - one of the hottest tickets of the past three festivals.
